Hilton Garden Inn Faroe Islands is located close to the Svartafoss Waterfall and the National Museum of the Faroe Islands. It’s definitely one of the best hotels in Faroe Islands, and you are close to everything you need while staying here.

The hotel has 130 rooms, and is known for the scenic views and its superb breakfast. The environment is in focus here as well, with the heating coming from leftover energy from local industries, as well as intelligent lighting and locally sourced food.

Hilton Garden Inn is home to the Hallartún restaurant, a French style bistro focused on local ingredients.

Hotel Førøyar

4 star

Located on the outskirts of Torshavn, Hotel Føroyar is tucked away in the valley, overlooking the city and the beautiful landscapes surrounding it. It lets you stay in a more secluded area, but at the same time it is only a 15 minute walk to the city centre.

Hotel Hafnia is smaller than the previously mentioned hotels, clocking in at 79 rooms and 4 cottages, but this boutique hotel in the centre of town is a great option for those who want to stay as centrally as possible.

Here you are surrounded by the finest restaurants in the Faroe Islands, such as Restaurant Katrina and Bistro 1. Hædd. Alternatively, if you want something simpler, there are plenty of cafés, where you can enjoy a light meal.

Places to stay outside Tórshavn

There are no hotels outside of Tórshavn, but that doesn’t mean there are no accommodations to be found. The islands have many options when it comes to apartment rentals, Bed and Breakfasts and cottages, which are spread all over. So let us take a look at some of them!

Lokk-Inn Apartments

If you want to venture to the northernmost island, Viðoy, then Lokk-Inn Apartments is a great option. The apartment complex is located just a 15 minute drive away from Klaksvik, the second largest town in the Faroe Islands, and this is a great option for anyone who wants to stay out in the countryside and explore the islands from there.
